Austin, TX (December 16, 2019) Coming off of a thrilling inaugural season in the United Soccer League, Austin Bold FC is celebrating their first holiday season in central Texas with a brand-new tradition - The Boldest Rosca in Texas. In the spirit of the holidays, Austin Bold FC, in partnership with Ascension Seton, Budweiser, and the Austin American-Statesman, is excited to invite fans to celebrate Día de Reyes, a centuries-old tradition, on Saturday, January 4 at Austin Bold FC stadium.
Starting at 1 p.m., fans can enjoy an afternoon of family fun with players from Austin Bold FC, traditional Latin American treats, and special musical performances by Bidi Bidi Banda, Proyecto Teatro, and Tejano Music Award winner, Mia Garcia. Families who attend will also receive an Austin Bold FC themed piñata while supplies last. Admission and parking are free for all fans.

Día de Reyes, or Kings Day, is a centuries-old tradition brought by the Spaniards to the New World. In México and many other Latin American countries, families gather together during this time to commemorate the arrival of the three kings by sharing a holiday cake called a Rosca.
