Austin, TX (September 20, 2019) This Sunday, Austin's Own take on Las Vegas Lights FC at 6:00 PM in their final home game of the 2019 USL Championship season. The last time these two clubs met was the first game of the season and ended 0-0.
Head coach Marcelo Serrano looks to return Bold Stadium to it's winning ways after two consecutive defeats. With Austin fighting for a vital playoff spot, every remaining game this season is critical in a congested USL Championship western conference.
The Bold will be facing a confident Las Vegas side that is coming off an impressive 3-1 win over Fresno FC at Cashman Field. It was a much-needed victory for Eric Wynalda's men to stop a four-game winless streak.
ABC's defense will need to stop Vegas leading goalscorer Irvin Parra. The 26-year-old striker has 11 goals of the season, most recently scoring a penalty against Los Zorros.
Austin Bold FC is thanking fans for their support during the team's inaugural season by hosting a Fan Appreciation Night on Sunday. Austin Bold fans can enjoy post-game fireworks, $2 beers (16oz domestic cans and drafts), and special discounts on Austin Bold FC merch. Kids 12 and under can eat free with a voucher picked up at the gate. Grab your tickets here!
