GET TO KNOW RENO 1868 FC BEFORE SUNDAY'S MATCH

Austin, TX (September 13, 2019) The Bold continue their three game homestand at Bold Stadium this Sunday against Reno 1868 FC at 6:00 PM. Head coach Marcelo Serrano will be looking to quickly bounce back from Wednesday's defeat against Sacramento Republic FC. The disappointing result took Austin’s Own from fourth to fifth place in the USL Championship western conference. Sunday will be the second meeting between Austin and Reno. A Brian Brown brace was enough to cancel out Kleber’s early goal to give Reno the win at Greater Nevada Field. Reno’s last match was a return to form for Ian Russell’s men. Before their resounding Tuesday night 5-0 victory over Tacoma Defiance, Reno suffered a four game losing streak. The Bold will have their hands full with forwards Corey Hertzog and Daniel Musovski. Hertzog is a 5-year USL veteran with 13 goals this season and ability to create goals out of nowhere. Musovski will still be riding high from his midweek hat-trick against Tacoma.
