RESTREPO WINS WEEK'S HONOR FOR SAVE AGAINST SAN ANTONIO FC

Austin, TX (July 12, 2019) The holiday weekend saw the USL Championship’s goalkeepers rack up almost 100 saves among an entertaining set of games to start the second half of the regular season. USL Championship picked out five of the best and let fans decide which one will take home the Fans’ Choice Save of the Week.

Bold goalkeeper Diego Restrepo won the week's honor with his 35' save last Wednesday against I-35 rivals San Antonio FC. Restrepo got down well to his left to corral a low shot by San Antonio FC’s Christian Parano without allowing a rebound in the Copa Tejas clash.
