Austin, TX (June 28, 2019) This Saturday, Austin Bold FC is back in Bold Stadium to take on Colorado Springs Switchbacks at 7:30 PM CT. The Bold enter the match on a high note after a difficult 0-1 road victory against fellow Texas club, Rio Grande Valley FC. Last week's three points were The Bold's second consecutive away win, a favorable change in form after going six road matches without. The addition of Edson Braafheid bolsters Austin's Own. The 2010 World Cup finalist signed with The Bold before the 2019 USL Championship season but couldn't participate due to immigration complications. The former Dutch international is now available for selection by Head Coach Marcelo Serrano. Colorado Springs Switchbacks are struggling this season with four wins and ten losses and currently sit 17th in the USL Championship Western Conference. The Colorado-based club looks for a positive result after two straight losses. Don't be fooled by their recent results, Steve Trittchuh's men defeated Fresno FC, Tacoma Defiance, and LA Galaxy II. All teams The Bold struggled with in the past.
